Project Intro
KBG Chambers are one of the largest Barristers Chambers in the South West. They represent and look after barristers, helping clients to find the right barrister to represent them in court, in our case most likely for speeding infringements.
KGB CHAMBERS
The case for a bold brand and a better website.

The Project
This project would find us approaching the bench twice, the first time to whip up some new branding, the second time to completely rebuild their website. The branding was, as usual, an open and shut case and their new K would bust out of the courtroom with abandon, kind of like the end of My Cousin Vinny. The website, however, proved to be a little more A Few Good Men, fortunately the client was able to handle the truth when we explained that their current site, and then the first full iteration of their new site sucked. Never before had we thrown so much of our own work in the bin but the rate of development with our new websites and then also the sheer volume of material to go into their site meant a deeper understanding of the project.
We went back to really look at Webflow and understand how it's best features could allow us to expand the realms of a site which would need to run extremely quickly, deliver information from multiple search strands and allow the client to make updates on an almost daily basis.

THE OUTCOME
What we delivered, from vision to execution
The final site took around 18months to get complete, not helped by a global pandemic in the middle, but not particularly hjndered by it either. The true limitation came from trying to gather the CVs and images from 40-50 barristers, we engaged two different photographers to get this imagery needed for the site, built complex forms for gathering information and configured a CMS (content management system) that would allow the client to write engaging copy and get important information in the correct place on the site every time.
